Our Funders

Live at LICA's key stakeholders include:

Lancaster University

As a top-10 UK Higher Education Institution, Lancaster University provides an unequalled context for our activity. As well as hosting much of our work in some fantastic venues (Nuffield Theatre, Peter Scott Gallery, Great Hall and LICA Building – see Our Venues), Lancaster University provides invaluable annual support for our core staff and programming activity.

Arts Council England

Since 2012, Live at LICA has been a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England, funded to support the development of new work, to provide support for artists, and to deliver innovative participatory projects with local residents.

Peter Scott Gallery Charitable Trust

Working with the Peter Scott Gallery Trustees, we are lucky to have the support of an endowment fund that provides an annual income to support gallery acquisitions and collections activity (see Collections section).

Friends of the Concerts

We regularly benefit from the support of the Friends of Live at LICA's concert series, many of whom have been attending our concerts for more than twenty years. Recently Live at LICA and the Friends teamed up with Lancaster University's Alumni Department to fundraise for a new Steinway D piano purchased in 2013.
