Live at LICA Partnerships

As a relatively small arts organisation, our activity is only possible through a network of partner and support organisations. The following are some of the key organisations with whom we are currently working to maximise the reach and benefit of our activity.

Lancaster Arts Partners (LAP)

We are a core member of LAP, ensuring a strategic and joined up cultural offer for Lancaster, Morecambe and the district. LAP core members include The Dukes, More Music, Ludus Dance, Green Close Studios, Litfest and the Storey Gallery.

Lancashire Sinfonietta
www.lancs-sinf.com

From September 2011, Live at LICA and Lancaster University becomes host to its first "Orchestra in Residence" - the Lancashire Sinfonietta. The Sinfonietta is Lancashire's professional orchestra and has a mission to take great music into local communities. It is one of the most unique chamber orchestras in the UK and features stars alongside emerging talent of the classical music world.

Lancaster University will become a base for the orchestra to tour the region as well as creating exciting new opportunities on campus with students, university staff and the local population.

This prestigious partnership will see Live at LICA and the Sinfonietta develop new work together and host the orchestra's annual Young Composer's Competition.
